To avoid sample degradation or the change in analytical composition follow these steps.

    1. Juice or fermenting samples: The sample bottle closure should not be entirely sealed to allow the fermentation gas to escape. These bottles should be in a plastic bag to prevent risk of spillage.  Please, collect juice samples prior to sulfite addition. Sample bottles can be partially filled.

    2. Wine samples: The sample bottle should be full and sealed. The Sample volume can be more than it is desired for the tests, but to save your wine, use bottle size close to the sample volume required for the test.

    3. Sample bottles available at no charge upon request or -Use glass or plastic food grade bottles.

    4. Handle wine samples like your wines -  keep it cool and out of direct sunlight.

    5. Minimize time between sample collection and testing.
